Tennis ace Sania Mirza and cricketer Shoaib Malik completed a year of wedded bliss on Tuesday.

Big celebrations are in store in Hyderabad (Sania's home) and Dubai (where the couple now reside). Shoaib wants to have a grand bash combining their anniversary and Sania's doubles win on Monday with Russian partner Elena Vesnina. This is her second title win in three weeks.

A friend of the couple informs that Shoaib is taking his wife of one year to an undisclosed location for a week to unwind from the stressful few days. Says an insider, "Sania-Shoaib need to spend some time together. She has been playing non-stop as she wants to regain lost ground caused by injury and lack of form. Shoaib has been totally supportive of her career and has let her concentrate on the game single-mindedly. But now that she is shining again, he wants to celebrate. He has planned a bash to commemorate the big win and their first anniversary. Shoaib is a total romantic, and he has made all these plans secretly, hoping to bowl his maiden over."

The couple are slated to fly down to Hyderabad. "Sania's parents haven't spent time with her in a while, and have asked their daughter and son-in-law to come to Hyderabad for a family celebration to mark their anniversary," the informer adds. Sania and Shoaib remained unavailable for comment.
