This season, designer Kavita Bhartia is all set to present Relance – a collection that narrates story of

sustenance and revival. Through her latest collection, Kavita wants to pay a tribute to the master artisans who have sustained the rich heritage and culture of India through delicate fabrics, ancient weaves, blocks, embroideries, textures and unique prints.

"The collection reflects very strong moods of black romanticism in gothic and Victorian version," says Kavita, adding, "Browns are beautifully married to black with elements of embroidery, layering and texturing." The designer has also made use of bright colours like yellow, orange, emerald green and pink to give a vibrant appeal to the collection. "Bright colours transit into muted beiges and the mood turns into elegant vintage.

The use of precious crafts and textures in a contemporary appeal truly bring forward the calm and designed modernity," explains Kavita, while expressing her gratitude to all the craftsmen, artisans, karigars and team members who have contributed towards this collection.
